John J. Parisi, CPA
John established his firm in Worthington in 2000 where he has lived for over 20 years. He has extensive experience in tax preparation services and consulting, specializing in small to medium sized businesses as well as personal income tax preparation and planning. He has worked with a variety of business owners, corporate executives, employees and independent contractors. Industries served include real estate, construction, medical practices, law firms, wholesale distributors and service companies.
Prior to opening his own practice, John was Treasurer of a Real Estate Development Company in Columbus and also was a CPA in public accounting with Pannell Kerr Forrester, a national CPA firm in Chicago. He uses his 34 years of tax and accounting experience to help his clients meet their goals. He is especially proud to provide individualized service to each of his clients year after year.
John is a member of the American Institue of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA), Worthington A.M. Rotary where he is currently Treasurer, and the Columbus Athletic Club.
Judy Romes, Administrative Assistant
Judy joined the firm in December 2005. She is a graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in Learning & Behavioral Disabilities and Special Education.
Judy has working experience in both the fields of education and business. In addition to being an former educator, Judy has also held positions such as sheltered workshop instructor and meeting planner. She enjoys being a part of John's professional team which provides quality one-on-one service to its clients.
Terra L. DeLeon, CPA
Terra joined the firm in June 2009. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and has been a licensed CPA since 2007, with 15+ years in industry and public accounting. She has held various positions throughout her career thus far, including Accounting Clerk, Fixed Asset Accountant, Staff Accountant, Auditor, Director of Budgets, Director of Budgets and Financial Reporting, and Independent Consultant.
Terra's experience encompasses entities ranging from small private companies generating $100k in revenue annually to larger public companies generating $80M+ in revenue. She has also worked with non-profits. This diverse accounting background enables Terra to understand and effectively address client needs on an individual basis. She most enjoys helping small to mid-sized business and individual clients by providing a wide range of consulting, planning, accounting, tax, and QuickBooks services.
Terra is currently pursuing a Masters of Taxation at Capital University Law School.
Jennifer Atkinson, Bookkeeper
Jennifer joined the firm in January 2010. She graduated in 1987 from the College of William and Mary with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Her work experience over the past 20+ years has focused on finance in the private and public sectors. Jennifer spent several years in the banking industry as a Commercial Lending Assistant and Operations Manager for a regional bank in North Carolina. Prior to joining the firm, Jennifer provided bookkeeping services for a local company whose business focus is commercial real estate. Jennifer enjoys using her attention to detail to help clients through the use of QuickBooks, Excel, and other financial software packages.
Gretchen Narciso, Staff Accountant
Gretchen joined the firm in July 2010. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and became a CPA in 1991. Her accounting career of 10+ years has included work in public accounting, industry and the non-profit sector. She has worked with both small and large companies and her experience has covered many facets of business operations, from bookkeeping and payroll/benefits management to budgeting and financial reporting/analysis. She enjoys being part of our team helping each client achieve success.
